A simple girl with extra ordinary dreams. A 15 year old gal in the height of 4'10 but owns a big heart. A Paulianian truly believes & loves God. This young lady seeking for true love. Looks happy but not. For now, she's fulfilling her dreams as an aspiring Speech Pathologist. :)
Father in heaven, I choose to trust in You. Even when things don’t go the way I planned, I know You are at work in my life. Thank You for Your perfect love which casts out all fear. I love You and surrender every area of my life to You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you” (Isaiah 60:1, NIV)
I believe that in 2012 God wants to exceed your expectations! He has amazing things stored up for you. He’ll take you places that you’ve never dreamed and give you breaks that seemed impossible. His glory is rising upon His people. Things are going to fall into place so that you can accomplish what God has placed in your heart. Even the hidden dreams that you’ve given up on, God has not given up on. He is going to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all you could ask, think, or imagine!
Your mind may try to talk you out of it, but if you’ll listen with your heart, it will resonate on the inside of you. Don’t let discouragement hold you back or keep you down. It’s time for you to arise. It’s time for you to shine. Let that sink down into your spirit today because it’s time for you to receive every spiritual blessing and move forward in the destiny He has prepared for you!
The word of God as a source of strength is known by many Christians but sometimes it is hard to know how to find strength in it. Are you at a low point in your life with pain, hurts, or depression? In these times, the strength from God’s word is needed more than ever. There are five areas to look at when finding strength in the word of God.
Prayer
God has asked us to communicate with Him about our needs. Finding strength in the Bible is for sure a need everyone. Why not go to God in prayer and ask for Him to lead you to the strength that comes from hearing and reading His word. I have always found it easier to get through any situation if it is first brought to God with humble prayer.
Belief
Do you believe the Bible is the actual word of God? You must believe this to get strength from it. This belief will help you to rely on it and trust that God has provided us the Bible as a great tool to get through life. The Bible tells us that all scripture is breathed by God and we must truly believe this (2 Timothy 3:16)
Faith
After you have asked God in prayer and truly believe the Bible is His work, you must then have faith that God will do as He has promised. Surrender your selfish wants and desires to Him and have faith that he will be able to complete a great work in you.
Study
You will not be able to gain strength from God through the Bible if you do not read it or hear it. You can pray, believe and have faith but without knowing what the Bible says the first three items will be of lesser value. Do you want to get the full strength of God’s holy word? Read the Bible!
Obedience
The final step is obedience. Did God speak to you as you were reading the Bible? Maybe He asked you to do something that you have been putting off or you saw how you needed to change your attitude about or towards something. Do not delay but listen to the word of God and do this today. The strength that comes from the Bible is best lived out in our obedience to what God is calling us to do.
